Wilkommen in der Deutschstunde! This is my thirteenth year teaching History and German here at Spanish Fork HS, and I guarantee this to be one of the best classes you will take in high school. That guarantee is dependent on both of us. It is my responsibility to teach you useful (and some not so useful - "Scheibenkleister!") words and phrases and cultural tips to help you become conversive in the German language. It is your responsibility to get the work/notes for days you miss and be aware of upcoming quizzes, test, and assignment deadlines. You are expected to come prepared to class and to participate. You'll have to step out of your comfort zone in this class and just let it all hang out in order to learn German, but you won't regret it.

School policies are explained in your student handbook, and you are expected to follow those policies. This includes adherance to the dress code, attendance, and cell phone/pager policies.

This site will help you better understand what this class is about and how you can be successful in this class. Follow the links to familiarize yourself with this course.
