Mrs. Hatton's Term? Update
For all the students who have told me I need to update the website.
I can't believe it is almost the end of third term. We have worked really hard this past term in both math and writing and have accomplished quite a bit. The students have taken the DWA (Direct Writing Assessment) and I believe they will score quite well. You will be impressed with their writing samples at Parent-teacher conferences.
Parent teacher conferences are Thursday, March 18. There is no school on March 19.
I still need a few volunteers for the zoo on March 26. It will be a fantastic field trip.
BOOK REPORTS
Book reports should be completed for each chapter book your child reads. At the end of the term, students will receive auction bucks for each book reports, and it will also be counted in their grade. This is also how I keep track of which books your student has read for the Golden Explorer.
